List of Available Plans
Site plans
Measurements taken from site during the survey are drawn to scale showing boundaries, level changes (where appropriate) and fixed elements (such as: outbuilding, trees, hard landscaping).
Garden Design 2D Plan
Based on the site plan, the garden design plan is a scaled drawing with added design elements.
Garden Design Elevations
2D elevation drawings, usually of two planes through the design plan.
Garden Design 3D Images
3D images of the garden design. Very helpful for people who have difficulty visualising a 3D concept from a 2D plan.
Garden Design 3D Walkthrough
A short 3D video viewed as seen by a person walking through the garden during daylight hours. Better than 3D images, the 3D walkthrough brings the design to life.
Garden Design 3D Evening Ambience
A short 3D video viewed as seen by a person walking through the garden after dark. This is particularly useful for visualising a lighting scheme.
Photoshop 3D Impression
An artistic representation of the garden design.
Construction Plans
Some landscapers insist on construction plans. Not to be confused with the CDM health and safety documents that are not generally required for garden landscaping, the construction plans include important information used to cost and build landscaping elements. They are particularly useful for more complex garden projects.
Lighting Plans
The lighting plans identify outdoor lighting types, numbers and positions. (May be requested by the electrician.)
Planting Plans
The planting plan show the species, variety and location of existing and ‘wanted’ plants. The planting plan is accompanied by plant purchasing lists and can be associated with a garden maintenance plan.
Irrigation Plans
A plan for an automatic garden watering system.
